The Museum is the home of most of our historic artifacts, and free for anyone to drop by and enjoy. The museum also houses the tourism office for the area and is involved with town promotions. The Museum is the home of most of our historic artifacts, and free for anyone to drop by and enjoy. The museum also houses the tourism office for the area and is involved with town promotions. Tours are offered to school classes, seniors, organizations and any visiting group. The original building housing the museum was built in 1906 by one of the district's first merchants and from 1952 to 1968 the building was used as a barracks by the R.C.M.P. In 2001, it was moved to its present site from where it was originally on Veterans Avenue.
The Saskatchewan Potash Interpretive Centre offers visitors an opportunity to learn the unique history of development - how potash is mined and refined, the uses and contribution of this important mineral.
